Matlock runner Tony Barrable claimed a 90th race title of his career.

A total of 400 runners took to the start line in Derby for a 10km race organised by the Shelton Striders Club, who celebrated their 25th year.

Barrable was the first Over-60s Vet back in a time of 39 minutes and 57 seconds - beating his nearest rival by more than four minutes.

It was the latest in a long list of victories for the experienced runner who can be seen pictured on a sunny morning at the start line in Derby.
