Brian Stacey has taken centre stage at Matlock Golf Club after landing golf’s toughest challenge TWICE in a week.
The 76 year old Past Captain and member of the club for 51 years shot a hole in one, with his five wood at the par three 4th hole.
Even though this was only his second hole in one in over 50 years of golfing, he then repeated the feat just seven days later, scored another hole in one on the the 4th at Matlock.
Brian nearly finished golf with a shoulder injury two years ago, but since then has gradually eased his way into playing regularly.
A spokesman for Matlock Golf Club said: “Many people play golf for many years and never get a hole in one, to get two within one week on the same hole using the same club is virtually unheard of.”
