High Peak youngsters will be part of the 1,000 children who are set to compete in this year’s Derbyshire School Games Event.

The event will be hosted at Mount St Mary’s College in Spinkhill next Tuesday (July 8).

The event will involve pupils from primary, secondary and special schools from across Amber Valley, Bolsover, Chesterfield, Derby City, Erewash, High Peak, North East Derbyshire, Rural Derbyshire and South Derbyshire taking part in 11 competitions throughout the day.
