Bottom entertained top in the Midlands Regional Alliance Premier Division on Saturday as Tibshelf hosted Cromford, with the visitors maintaining their unbeaten league record courtesy of a hat-trick from Danny Wildgoose and a goal from Josh Parker as they hit four without reply.

Daniel Watson’s strike set Wirksworth Ivanhoe on course to a 3-0 over local rivals Wirksworth Town, Michael Beech and Liam Murphy also on target.

In Division One, Wirksworth Town Reserves fell 4-2 at home to AFC Rocester with their goals from Izaak Ward and Richard Woolsey, whilst Connor Hiley (3) and Will Fletcher (2) were on target for Rowsley 86 Reserves in their 5-1 victory at Shirebrook Rangers.

Ambergate were beaten 4-2 by Sandiacre Reserves in Division Two.

In Challeng Cup action, Matlock United roped to a 5-1 win over Stapleford Town with Callum Gill striking a hat-trick and Chris Johnson and Scott Parker getting the other goals.
