Award-winning films from around the world will be shown at the sixth annual Hope Valley Adventure Film Festival.
The daytime event at Hope Valley College on Saturday, February 21, is packed with the best films from the world of climbing and mountaineering, mountain biking, kayaking, mountain culture and adventure travel, with action from 11am to 6.30pm.
You can also enter the bouldering competition, enjoy the art exhibition or make your own three-minute adventure film and enter it into a mini film competition.
The evening session starts at 7pm with a pie and pea supper. This will be followed by a lecture by Mick Fowler, one of Britain’s most accomplished mountaineers, with understated stories and compelling images from epic making first ascents on wild British sea cliffs and Himalayan peaks spanning 35 years.
The Hope Valley Adventure Film Festival is a great day out for both families and seasoned outdoor sports addicts.
