Have your say

the National Trust’s Ilam Park is starting a new series of free guided walks on Good Friday (April 22).

Every Friday, walks will offer visitors a chance to drop in and explore Ilam and its surrounding countryside with experienced walk leaders at a relaxed pace. For those who want to go for a walk but don’t know where to go, this will be a chance to enjoy stunning scenery in a friendly and informal atmosphere, without the worry of getting lost.

Walks will be led by Linda Wilkins and Jill Love, both experienced walk leaders. They will take visitors on circular routes lasting around two hours. Each week, there’ll be a different route so visitors can return to explore more.

The walks will leave from and return to the Ilam Visitor Centre, from 11am, and are free of charge.
