Gardens throw their gates open for good cause

A NUMBER of Whatstandwell’s hidden gardens will open to the public for a day next month in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Visitors will have a chance to explore several stunning hillside gardens between 2pm and 6pm on Sunday, June 5.

The event has been organised by Whatstandwell Social Club. It costs £3.50 for adults, accompanied children free. Dogs must be on leads. Tickets are available from the first garden you visit or from Crich Carr Primary School, Main Road, Whatstandwell.

There will be table top sales, plant sales, teas and cakes.
