Highfields School held their own annual version of Britain’s Got Talent at Starkholmes Lower School, raising £250 for Sheffield’s Children Hospital.
Almost 30 students aged from 11 to 13 performed a variety of acts, from singing, dancing, juggling, magic tricks, gymnastics and even a pogo stick and unicycle act! Students performed to a packed house and teachers pretending to be celebrity judges.
Organisers of the event and heads of years 7 and 8, Maggie Brown and Alison Ruston, said, “We are very proud of our youngsters who auditioned to perform.
“It is wonderful to see their commitment and hard work, and the confidence they gain through performing has a long lasting effect on their development.”
