BBC Radio 4 character star John Shuttleworth heads for Buxton Opera House this weekend with his comedy show A Wee Ken To Remember.
The versatile singer/organist wants to share fond memories of his favourite past weekends. However, a typo on the poster means he is obliged to spend the evening paying homage to his next-door neighbour and agent - Ken Worthington.
In this new show, Shuttleworth will air classic tunes such as Two Margarines and I Can’t Go Back To Savoury Now as well as new ditties like Bitter Sweet Memories and Relatives In Rotherham.
The John Shuttleworth character (performed by Graham Fellows) gained national attention through radio show The Shuttleworths running for five series between 1993 and 2010.
John Shuttleworth takes place on Sunday, November 23 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £13.50 and £16.50. Contact0845 127 2190 or buy online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
