Magic and music are woven into stage version of English legend

Prepare for magic, music and mirth as the ‘boy who would be king’ pulls the sword from the stone.

Cheer for your favourite jousting knight of the round table, admire the gutsy Lady Guinevere as she reveals her strength and skills, gasp at the magic Merlin as she controls the twists and turns of a classic English legend.

Oddsocks are staging The Legend of King Arthur at Derby Guildhall nightly from January 26 to 30. Performances are at 7.30pm, with matinees at 1pm on Wednesday and 2pm on Saturday.

King Arthur is played by Peter Hoggart who previously performed with Oddsocks on touring productions of Twelfth Night and Much Ado About Nothing in the summer of 2015.

Guinevere is in the hands of Lucy Varney, who made her debut with the company as Olivia in Twelfth Night and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing.
