Pianist Melvyn Tan, who has played at festivals such as Salzburg and Edinburgh, will perform at Sheffield’s Crucible Studio Theatre on Tuesday, January 20.
At the heart of his programme lies a series of short ‘meditations’ – Variations for Judith– composed by some of Britain’s finest living composers including Michael Berkeley, Diana Burrell, Peter Maxwell Davies, Jonathan Dove, Thea Musgrave, Tarik O’Regan and Judith Weir.
