Nottingham Harmonic Choir is holding its second Come And Sing event, on Saturday, February 28.
The venue will be Nottingham Girls’ High School and the works to be performed are by two leading English composers.
Ralph Vaughan Williams and Hubert Parry wrote wonderful pieces of choral music and you are invited to come and sing three of these.
Toward the Unknown Region and In Windsor Forest have diverse musical components, both grand and sensitive, whilst Parry’s Blest Pair of Sirens builds to a satisfying and thrilling ending.
A spokesperson for the choir said: “We would love you to join us for this event, whether new to singing or more experienced. Running the music side of the day will be Richard Laing, director of Nottingham Harmonic Choir. He is highly skilled in leading workshops, making them interesting and fun.
