MUSIC fans will be flocking to the area this weekend to enjoy the latest Y-Not Festival, to be staged at Pikehall, near Matlock.

The eagerly-awaited music event runs from August 5-7 and will see a host of top performing alongside many local acts.

This year’s line-up includes Maximo Park, Feeder and The Go Team.

The festival will see over 80 bands and expects to draw over 5,000 people to the venue for a local event on a national scale.

Last year, the festival took a huge stride forward with a massive line-up, increased capacity and it gained a shortlist nomination for the ‘Best Small Festival’ award at the UK Festival Awards.

This year, organisers believe it has a line-up to rival anywhere else in the country.

Apart from the headliners, other performers involved will include Jamie Woon, Egyptian Hip Hop, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and local talent such as The Rash.
