Matlock gig for Sue Ryder charity

A convoy of scooters will be riding in to Matlock to help raise funds at a charity gig.

Derwent Valley Scooter Club has organised a Ride for Ryder on Sunday, July 31.

Riders will flock to the Black Hippo bar, on Bakewell Road, to raise money for Sue Ryder charity which helps care for people with end of life and long term needs.

Matlock based indie band The Something, Catching Kate and musician Andy Carr will be providing live music from 12noon.

There will be a free buffet and a trophy for the best scooter.

Raffle tickets are on sale in Sue Ryder charity shop, on Firs Parade and also on the day.

First prize is two first class return rail tickets to London and many other prizes will be up for grabs.
