Patriotic gig for punk aces

Local punk legends Resistance 77 are back at the Hawthorns, South Normanton, on Saturday, April 21, for their annual St Georges weekend bash.

Playing their mix of punk and patriotic singalong songs, another capacity crowd is expected with people travelling from all over the country for what is always a lively but enjoyable night.

The pub is open all day with various activities (weather permitting) food, and the support band Static Kill, a three-piece featuring Jason, the owner of Foremans Bar Nottingham, will be playing their acoustic classic punk covers from 8pm with Resistance 77 on stage around 9pm.

It will again be free admission. However, there will be a charity bucket collection.
