The first celebrities to join the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2015 have been announced.

Pop star Frankie Bridge from The Saturdays and rugby hunk and model Thom Evans will be dancing their way across the country fresh from this year’s BBC One TV series, on the eighth fab-u-lous Strictly arena tour, which reaches Nottingham Capital FM Arena on January 20-21.

Zoe Ball will be joining Frankie and Thom on tour, hosting this much loved entertainment spectacular. Zoe knows everything there is to know about Strictly, being both presenter of BBC Two’s sister show, It Takes Two and a former contestant in the 2005 series. More celebrities will be announced soon.

TV judge Craig Revel Horwood is once again directing the live tour, so audiences will experience Strictly’s glitz, glamour and breathtaking choreography in this supersized arena spectacular.

Tickets priced at £50.40 and £72.80 (includes administration fee).

Tickets can be booked online at https://www.capitalfmarena.com/Online/strictly, via 0843 373 3000 or in person at Ticketing & Customer Services, Bolero Square, The Lace Market, Nottingham.

Frankie, Thom will be joined by other celebrities and professional dancers from this year’s ratings winning show.

Theywill take to the dance floor to recreate their dazzling moves and compete for votes from the judges. Arena audiences will also be able to text vote for their favourite stars via their mobile phones and ultimately decide who wins the prized Glitterball Trophy at each performance.

On announcing her place on the tour, Frankie Bridge says: “My Strictly journey has only just begun and I’m loving every moment. I’m really excited to be a part of the 2015 tour. It will be a bit strange performing in arenas without my band mates, but I can’t wait to see all the Strictly fans who have supported me throughout the TV series and get my dancing shoes on again.”

Thom Evans says: “It’s sad to be out of the TV Show as I don’t think I got the chance to show my full potential, but I’m really excited to be invited to perform on the Strictly tour and can’t wait to get back on the dance floor! I’m told that performing in the arenas is completely different to the TV studio, so this will be a chance to really let loose and have some fun out there. Roll on January!”

Zoe Ball says: “Strictly has a very special place in my heart, so I’m delighted to be hosting the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour again. This year’s TV series has been thrilling to watch so far, with a fantastic line-up of celebrities. I’m really looking forward to seeing who else will be joining me on tour, as we‎ visit arenas across the country. It’s great to give fans the chance to see their favourite stars performing their most popular dance routines up close and personal. We can promise a fab-u-lous evening of entertainment and sequins that the whole family will enjoy.”
