Tankus the Henge will aim to take Wirksworth Town Hall by storm with a gig there on Friday, November 22.
This powerhouse of a band (pictured in action), draw on influences from reggae, blues, funk, gypsy punk to create a rootin’, tootin’ wild and crazy foot stomping groove that will guarantee to get you out of your seats.
Molly and Jamie, a local, talented up and coming female duo are the supporting act on the night.

n The Rotary Club of Matlock combines with the Derbyshire City & County Music Partnership to present a celebration of the City and County Youth Wind Band’s experiences on their return from their tour of Toyota City, Japan.
The CCYWB is one of the county’s leading youth ensembles, and embarked on a successful tour to Toyota City at the end of October.
After their return to the UK, the ensemble will meet again to perform at Highfields School in Matlock in this celebratory concert, on Saturday, November 23.
The programme will include:
n Nigel Hess’s Global Variations
n S.V. Hays Rip it Up (Xylophone solo)
n Bernstein’s Overture to Candide
n Holst’s First Suite for Band
Conductor for the concert will be Jon Malaxetxebarria.
The concert is in aid of Rainbows and Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospices.
Tickets are £8 for dults and £5 for under 16s.
