Music fans will be spoilt for choice this weekend when the hugely popular Y-Not Festival returns.
From Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 3, the event at Pikehall near Matlock will be the setting for a huge array of acts to perform, ranging from big names to rising talent.
Across the three days, performing on over half-a-dozen stages on the site, you can see performances by the likes of Dizzee Rascal, The Fratellis, White Lies, Razorlight, Shed Seven, De La Soul, Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, British Sea Power, Shlomo, Ella Eyre (pictured inset), and many more.
In addition, there will be sets performed by Bipolar Sunshine (pictured), Fight Like Apes, Brawlers, Freeze The Atlantic, Tangled Hair, Woahnows, Emperor Yes, Doctrines, Bad Grammar, Arnivore, Smiling Ivy, Jimmy the Gent, Byron Street Social, Ocelus, Welsh Whisperer and Jimmy the Gent, not to mention the many, many other acts appearing on the The Big Gin Stage, the Quarry Stage, The Giant Squid Stage, Allotment, The Hog and Barrel, The Xanadu Venue, The Bassweight Tent, The Saloon Bar, Secret Venue and the UFO Stage.
Over the past ten years, the award winner Y-Not has established itself as a much loved event in the festival season, attracting people from all over the country to sample its wares.
Camping and parking is available and the festival organisers aim to make it a family-friendly event.
The festival is still run by the same small team of passionate enthusiasts it was all those years ago , and the ethos remains the same - great time makes a great festival.
