Flower Festival. All Saints Church, Ashover, ‘Treasury of Verse’ Flower Festival, 10am to 5pm, with village ‘Scarecrow Trail’ and Art Exhibition in the Bassett Rooms (opposite the Church). Family Fun. The White Hart Inn, Inns Lane, Moorwood Moor, Alfreton. We will be showing off the best Real Ales and encouraging people to travel to sample the best Real Ales & Cider Derbyshire has to offer. Also we will be including World Beers/Lagers and a host of authentic spirits and cocktails. There will be an authentic Hog Roast and kids corner with face painting and bouncy castle.

Exhibition. Chesterfield Art Club’s exhibition takes place at Baslow Village Hall from 10am to 5pm. There will be more than 100 paintings by local artists as well as light refreshments.

Adders on the Moors. A one day workshop, will be led by David Carter from Nottingham University who will be, exploring the world of adders on the Eastern Moors, sharing his expertise and demonstrating his surveying techniques. 10am, at Barbrook Cottage on Big Moor, finishing at 3pm.
