ACTRESS Amanda Donohoe is set to ooze star quality in Noel Coward’s wickedly funny final play when it is performed at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal next month.
The Golden Globe winner heads the cast of Star Quality as theatrical grand dame Lorraine Barrie.
Taking us behind the scenes of a new West End production, Coward conjures up a wickedly observant satire of the backstage world of talent and treachery with a gallery of unforgettable characters.
From a tentative first rehearsal to triumphant opening night, both leading lady and director are determined to get their own way and the resulting clash of egos becomes increasingly, hilariously bloody.
Star Quality is adapted by Christopher Luscombe and runs from October 11-15. Call the box office for ticket details on 0115 9895555.
