award-WINNING company Pilot Theatre will be presenting a vibrant new production of Romeo And Juliet from April 6 to 9 at Buxton Opera House.
Pilot Theatre brought Lord of the Flies to the Opera House in 2009 and are the perfect exponents of Shakespeare’s timeless tale of star-crossed lovers and dangerous rivalries.
With stunning visuals and a cutting-edge soundtrack by renowned composer Sandy Nuttgens, this contemporary version will inspire and enthuse audiences of all ages with exuberance, poetry and thrilling action. Award-winning set designer Chloe Lamford has created a contemporary setting for this 21st century version of Romeo and Juliet.
Oliver Wilson will play the role of Romeo, and Juliet will be performed by Rachel Spicer, a recent graduate from RADA. There will be a free after-show discussion on Wednesday, April 6.
