The catering staff of BBC TV’s hit sitcom Dinnerladies will be dishing up another helping of hilarious comedy at Buxton Opera House, when the team returns with a brand new stage play, written by Victoria Wood, from June 3-5.

As Tony and Bren tentatively begin a relationship, will they overcome romantic hurdles at the works Christmas party? And with the canteen facing an uncertain future, could a TV quiz show be the answer to their prayers?

With many of the same talented cast from last year, the new show contains some of Victoria Wood’s best comedy writing.

Andrew Dunn and Sue Devaney from the original TV series will appear as Tony and Jane and they will be joined by the usual characters: Bren, Dolly, Jean, Twinkle and Anita. Caretaker Stan, Phillippa from Human Resources and Petula, Bren’s dreadful mother, will also return to bring this hilarious adventure from HWD Electronics catering staff to life.

Tickets for Dinnerladies are priced from £16.50 to £22.50 and discounts are available. Call the box office on 0845 127 2190.
