Leading guitarists will play at The Green Man Gallery, Buxton.

Chris Woods, Grammy Award winner Amrit Sond, and Stanislav Pocaji - will display their unique approaches to the acoustic guitar in the concert on Saturday, June 25, at 7pm.

UK based instrumental phenomenon Chris is renowned for his progressive and percussive approach. He blends ear-bending drop tuned grooves with endearing stories to create his performances.

His first gig at The Green Man Gallery in March 2014 was a sell-out and left the audience wanting more.

Now he’s back with two special guests:

Amrit Sond is a Grammy award-winning guitarist who is of Indian origin but was born in Kenya. His compositions are influenced by Indian, African and Arabic music which he was exposed to in his younger years.

Stano Pocaji from Slovakia plays jazz and blues and is renowned as one of Eastern Europe’s finest guitarists.

Buxton-based singer/guitarist Joe Ramsay will be the support act.
