Annual festival returns to town
Visual arts, drama, music and film will be the ingredients of the annual Wirksworth Festival.
More than 100 artists will be displaying their creations during the event, which runs from September 10 to 26.
Highlights include the Art and Architecture Trail (September 12-13) in which work will be displayed in houses throughout the town and the Contemporary Visual Arts Programme (September 12-13, 19-20 and 26) featuring the work of internationally respected artists.
