Award-winning folk musician Lucy Ward tours new album

Derbyshire musician Lucy Ward will perform with her new band in Matlock Bath.

Lucy, who is touring her new album I Dreamt I Was A Bird, plays at the Grand Pavilion on Friday, October 9.

She won the Horizon award for best emerging artist at the 2012 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

Her new band includes Icelandic newcomer Helga Ragnarsdottir, charismatic Anna Esslemont plus Stephen MacLachlan and Sam Pegg, the latter two returning after last year’s successful tours.

Be prepared for hard hitting songs beautifully sung and dynamically played.
