Best-selling author Wendy Holden to talk at new festival in Cromford

Book lovers have the opportunity to hear talks by eminent writers at a new festival.

Best-selling author Wendy Holden and BAFTA nominated scriptwriter Chris Thompson are heading for the Cromford Mills Book Festival this weekend.

Chris, whose credits include Emmerdale and The Archers, will give a talk on Saturday, June 20, from 2pm.

Stephen Bailey, co-author of Heartlands, D. H. Lawrence’s Midlands Roots, will explore the writer’s connections with the county in his talk on Saturday from 7pm.

Wendy Holden, author of ten consecutive Sunday Times top ten best-selling novels, will talk about her latest book Wild and Free on Sunday, June 21, from 2pm.
