Blair Dunlop plays gig in Derbyshire

Award-winning folk singer Blair Dunlop performs a gig in his native Derbyshire this weekend.

He plays at Wormhill Village Hall, near Buxton, on Saturday, May 16, where he will perform his new single Fifty Shades of Blue alongside other original work and collected folk songs.

Blair scooped the Horizon honour at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2013. He has emerged as one of the UK’s finest singer songwriters.

His music has a contemporary sound influenced by folk music roots. His dad, Ashley Hutchings, was a founder-member of Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span.
