Chesterfield Carnival’s attractions for all the family
Rex the dinosaur, a mini-zoo, superheroes and Jedi Knight Academy are among attractions at this weekend’s Chesterfield Carnival.
The two-day event at Stand Road Park will include a five-a-side tournament and tug of war with cash prizes, a classic car and bike show and a funfair.
There will be the opportunity to challenge Chesterfield Football Club on the speedmachines and take part in a fancy dress competition.
The carnival opens at 8am on Saturday, July 18 and closes at 5pm on Sunday, July 19.
Proceeds go to Ashgate Hospice.
