Chesterfield switches on to Christmas

Christmas lights will be turned on in Chesterfield this Sunday, November 23, with a big build-up of festive entertainment in the town centre .

Chesterfield Christmas Lights Switch On.

The lights are scheduled to be switched on at 4.45pm in New Square.

Attractions include a guest appearance from Asa Elliott - star of ITV comedy, Benidorm and Prince Charming in this year’s Poemgranate panto Cinderella.

The Peak FM stage show will be on site from 3.30pm.

Rhythms from the Pantonic All Stars Steel Band will be ringing down Burlington Street.

The Christmas market will be open from 12 noon to 6pm with walkabout entertainment and the market hall will be open from 11am to 6pm.
