Choir’s moving tribute to victims of war

Tideswell Male Voice Choir will stage a moving remembrance tribute to all those who have given their lives in conflict down the years and throughout the world.

Tideswell Male Voice Choir's Never Forget concert

The choir and guest soloists will perform in the concert, entitled Never Forget, at the Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield, on November 8.

First staged in the town’s theatre last year to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War, the concert incorporates music, song and dance.

Dennis Kay, director of music for the choir, said: “We welcome this fantastic opportunity as we return on the remembrance weekend to present “Never Forget”, our tribute to the many who made the ultimate sacrifice.”

The choir and soloists will be accompanied by Christopher Ellis (principal accompanist), Derrick Mcgill (pecussionist) and Corus Brass.
