Icarus Theatre Company will be staging Hedda Gabler on Tuesday, March 18, and Othello on Wednesday, March 19.

Written by Henrik Ibsen, Hedda Gabler tells the story of one of the most notorious heroes in theatre, who saw her time as a single girl run out and so she married an academic, a man she clearly no longer loves. She finds herself driven to diabolical ends trying to discover purpose in life as the world starts closing in on her.

Othello, by Shakespeare, is a noble, brave and victorious legend in his own lifetime. His world will be brought vividly to life as a live string quartet and ensemble cast combine with some of literature’s most vibrant language and characters.
