DCO will play Brahms and Dvorak in latest concert

Derby Concert Orchestra will conclude their 2014-2015 season with a performance at St Mary’s Church in Wirksworth on Saturday, July 11, from 7.30pm.

To conclude a busy and successful season of five concerts, the orchestra will be playing three diverse works, to be conducted by Jonathan Trout.

The concert will feature performances of two of Dvorak’s most popular Slavonic Dances, the collection of pieces that helped bring him to wider and very appreciative audence beyond his native Bohemia.
