Tim presents innovative re-imaginings of traditional tales as he exhumes the bones of old Devil stories and stitches them a new skin.

This grand collection spans supermarket stalls, urban sprawls, mad drunken preachers and widow’s sons.

The Storytelling Cafe meets at the Imperial Rooms, Matlock, at 7.30pm. Cakes and snacks are available. Audience members are invited to bring their own liquid refreshment.

Tickets cost £7 and can be bought by calling Storytelling Cafe on 01629 580023. Or you can pay on the door.

Matlock Storytelling Cafe was set up in 2003 to bring stories to adult audiences. Shows are provided by guest performers every other month and the cafe is always looking out for new talent.
