“The films we have chosen to feature are thought provoking and innovative showcasing the very best in filmmaking and I am delighted that we are able to turn the spotlight on some of the young filmmakers starting to make their mark on our industry.”

Film fans will be able to watch the selected entries and industry events for free via a secure online platform.

Nicole said: “Theatres have been particularly hard hit by Covid-19 and it is not clear when they will be able to fully reopen.

“We hope by making the festival free it will encourage even more people to get involved. We want to make film as accessible as possible.”
