The Kerfuffle Kurse – A Partici-panto is digital, daring and downright silly and will be available to watch online via Zoom from December 18 to 23, 2020.

Fairy tale characters have been turned evil by a mysterious curse which can only be lifted by the power of the panto’s audience.

Featuring dastardly villains, cheeky chappies, perplexing puzzles, and more, award-winning immersive arts company But Why? promise a theatrical experience you and your family will never forget.

But Why? was co-founded by former Buxton Community School pupil Ivan Orson-Kelly, 23, and two friends he met at university, Thomas Florence and Millie Goddard.

The company won the John Beecher Memorial Prize at this year's Buxton Fringe Festival for its performance of The Affinity Initiative and was invited to perform at the first ever international Burning Man festival usually held within Nevada, USA.

During his studies in Buxton, Ivan took part in a series of successful fringe festival performances, including a nomination for best young actor for a student formed company's performance of Asylum seven years ago.

He began a drama course at Liverpool John Moore’s University in 2015 and enhanced his further education at Southern Connecticut University in the USA where there was an emphasis on technical theatre and directing in his course.
