Miss World disruption plot in Misbehaviour film starring Keira Knightley

Based on a true story from 1970, Misbehaviour (12A) is the big attraction at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre this weekend and screens on Friday, August 14 and Sunday, August 16 at 7.30pm and on Wednesday, August 19 at 2pm.

A satellite screening of the gritty threatre production Kinky Boots that takes its audience from the factory floor at Northampton to the catwalk of Milan will be shown tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm.

Stage Mother (15) stars Lucy Liu in a tale of a Texan church choir director who inherits her late son’s drag queen club in San Francisco. The film will be screened at the Pomegranate on Saturday, August 15, at 7.30pm.

Family film 100% Wolf (PG) revolves around Freddy Lupin, the heir to a proud family line of werewolves. On his 13th birthday, Freddy’s own “transwolfation” goes awry when he is turned into a ferocious poodle! Catch 100% Wolf on Saturday at 2pm.

Disney and Pixar’s Onward (U) is the story of two teenage elf brothers who embark on a quest to find if there is a still a little magic out there.

The film will Summerland (12A) is set against the backdrop of the Second World War. Reclusive writer Alice (played by Gemma Arterton) has her world turned upside down when an evacuee from the London Blitz is left in her care. Summerland will be shown on Tuesday, August 18 at 7.30pm.
