Harmonic Choir to sing Messiah at RCH

Nottingham Harmonic Choir will perform Handel’s Messiah at the city’s Royal Concert Hall on Saturday, December 5.

Neither a musical nor an opera, Messiah was composed in 1741 to tell a story in words and music. As do the best stories, it includes mystery, birth, unusual characters, death, and an unexpected but glorious ending.

Led by their musical director Richard Laing, Nottingham Harmonic Choir will perform with Orchestra da Camera and soloists, starting at 7pm.

Tickets are £13-£22 (concessions available). They are available from www.NottinghamHarmonic.org
