Lucy Ward tours her new album to Matlock Bath

Derbyshire musician Lucy Ward will perform with her new band in Matlock Bath.

Lucy is touring her new album I Dreamt I Was A Bird plays at the Grand Pavilion on Friday, October 10.

Her band includes Icelandic newcomer Helga Ragnarsdottir, charismatic Anna Esslemont plus Stephen MacLachlan and Sam Pegg, the latter two returning after last year’s successful tours.

Be prepared for hard hitting songs beautifully sung and dynamically played.

Lucy won the Horizon award for best emerging artist at the 2012 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
