Matlock Artists Society launch exhibition in silver jubilee year

Artists are putting their work on show to celebrate their club’s silver jubilee anniversary year.

Matlock Artists Society launches its annual exhibition at Arkwright Mill, Cromford, on Saturday, July 4, which will run until July 17.

Entries are judged by professional artists and winners will be awarded trophies. Paintings, prints and cards will be on sale.

The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 5pm and admission is free.

The society has grown over the past 25 years, building up a fine reputation for its programme of activities. Visitor numbers to the society’s annual exhibition have risen considerably over that time.
