Robin Cronan, chief executive of Manchester-based Seditious Records, said: “We’re extremely excited about this project and working with Life Story Piracy.

“They are a unique and original band, which poses very interesting challenges in the studio, but we can’t wait to get them in.

“They will be working in a world-class recording studio and joining names like Plan B, The Script, Gorillaz, New Order and Nine Black Alps who have all recorded there in recent years. The name Life Story Piracy sits very comfortably among those names and is one that people will hear more and more in the future. “

“These guys are the real deal!”
