Mozart focus of concert at Sheffield City Hall
The Royal Northern Sinfonia Orchestra are joined by Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus and the Gentlemen of Sheffield Cathedral Choir on Friday, November 7, at Sheffield City Hall.
Sopranos Gillian Keith and Anna Dennis, tenor Sam Furness and bass Matthew Hargreaves join conductor James Burton and the Royal Northern Sinfonia, for Mozart’s Great C Minor Mass.
Many believe that it is the only significant choral work composed between Bach’s B minor Mass and Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis.
