Musical homage toShakespeare’s wit
A major new production of Cole Porter’s Kiss Me Kate will be staged by Opera North in The Lowry, Salford.
Set both on and off-stage during the production of a musical version of The Taming of the Shrew, Kiss Me, Kate revolves around the love lives of actor-manager Fred Graham and his leading lady and ex-wife, Lilli Vanessi.
Show-stopping numbers including Another Op’nin’ Another Show, So in Love, Fashion and Too Darn Hot.
Kiss Me Kate is at The Lowry on November 13 and 14.
