Musical journey is screened in the John Carroll Suite

Concerto - A Beethoven Journey (U) is to be screened at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on Monday, November 16.

Filmed over the course of four years, award-winning director Phil Grabsky follows leading concert pianist Leif Ove Andsnes’s attempt to understand and interpret one of the greatest sets of works for piano ever written: Beethoven’s five piano concertos.

These film screenings will take place from 11am and 2pm in an intimate cinema created especially for this event in the John Carroll Suite, and featuring state-of-the-art surround sound.
