Potteries-themed art exhibition at Buxton gallery

Artist Micheal Pritchard is known for his depiction of what remains of the industrial heritage of the North Staffordshire Potteries, an area once home to the world’s greatest pottery manufacturers.

In his distinctive style, he creates compositions inspired by the majestic shapes of the bottle kilns and the architectural features of the factory workshops which, at one time, dominated the skyline of The Potteries.

His Potteries-themed work will go on show at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday, January 17, in the free exhibition Beyond The Grit & Grime
