Record-breaking Procession of Witness in Chesterfield

A record number of 36 churches - the most in 166 years - will be taking part in Chesterfield's Procession of Witness on Monday, May 30.

A record number of 36 churches - the most in 166 years - will be taking part in Chesterfield’s Procession of Witness on Monday. Decorated floats and marching bands will gather outside the Town Hall at 9.45am where they will be greeted by the Mayor and Mayoress of Chesterfield, Cllr Steve Brunt and his wife Jill, before the procession sets off at 10.05am. Crowds will be entertained by a juggler and balloons will be given out along the route. Coffee will be served in Rose Hill United Reformed Church after the procession.
