ROCKIN’ GOOD EVENT RETURNS

The eagerly-awaited Rock & Blues Custom Show & Old School Weekender returns to the area from July 23-25, attracting people from all over the country.

As in previous years, the annual event will take place at the Coney Grey Showground, Chesterfield Road, Pentrich.

Amid the picturesque splendour of the rolling Derbyshire countryside, the festival will again play host to a massive array of bands on three stages across three days.

There will also be an impressive array of displays at a custom show, displaying all types of motorbikes, hot rod and classic cars, trikes and scooters.

Great prizes and trophies will also be up for grabs. The Custom Show starts on the morning of Friday, July 24, and ends on the afternoon of Saturday, July 25.

There will also be a fully licensed bar serving everything from beers and lagers, to hand pulled ales and ciders, plus great food vendors, sideshows, attractions and trade stands.

As for the bands, performing on Thursday are Badness, Wolf’Skin and Theia (Cross Piston Saloon- Main Stage).

On the Friday, you can see the likes of BB BlackDog (pictured), Howlin Matt and Hot Money (Acoustic Stage); Voodoo Vegas, These Wicked Rivers, Full Throttle (Platform 15 Stage); and Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Teenage Casket Company, and Crazy Diablo (Cross Piston Saloon - Main Stage).

Finally, on the Saturday, bands taking part include Blockheads, Bleeding Hearts, Havana Rocks and Jester (Cross Piston Saloon - Main Stage); Manc Lads, Modern Affair, Castro, Witch Tripper (Platform 15 Stage), and Brad Dear, Midnight Dogs and Mya De Angelo (Acoustic Stage).
