Students in concert action this weekend
Nottingham’s Albert Hall will be the venue for a concert on Saturday, November 28, featuring the University Choir and University Philharmonia.
Conducted by Jonathan Tilbrook, the concert stars at 7.30pm and features performances of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No2, with soloist Sunmin Ahn, and Sir Michael Tippett’s A Child Of Our Time.
This latter work remains as relevant today, advocating reconciliation and peace, as it did when premiered back in 1944.
Tickets for the concert are £13 (£10 concessions, £6 University of Nottingham students.)
