Call goes out for members of community to audition for play

The search is on for members of the community to take part in a production of Arthur Miller’s modern classic, A View From The Bridge, at the Theatre Royal Nottingham next year.

The Touring Consortium Theatre Company will, with York Theatre Royal, co-produce the play in the centenary year of Arthur Miller’s birth and will bring it to the Theatre Royal from March 3-7.

The Touring Consortium Theatre Company will be holding open auditions at the Theatre Royal Nottingham to cast between 10-12 people who will make up the ensemble casting for this production.

Local members of the community will perform alongside the professional cast for the entire week that it plays at the theatre.

The producers feel this is a wonderful opportunity for local actors to be part of a national touring production.

Anyone with even a little acting experience is welcome to audition.

To apply for a casting slot, send a recent photo and a short paragraph about yourself explaining why you would like to take part to [email protected]. Please note you must be over 16 years old to apply. The deadline for applications is Friday, September 26. The auditions will be held later in the year.
