Chapterhouse Theatre Company returns to Derbyshire with A Christmas Carol

Charles Dickens’ classic story A Christmas Carol will be brought to life on the Derbyshire stage in a festive treat for all the family.

Chapterhouse Theatre Company continue its tradition of touring this show to Buxton where the heart-tugging story will be presented at the Pavilion Arts Centre from November 17 to 19, 2021.

The production contains beautiful period costumes, song, dance and a generous helping of Christmas spirit.

Adapted for the stage by writer Laura Turner, the story focuses on miserly Ebenezer Scrooge who is whisked away by three ghosts determined to show him the true meaning of Christmas.

Chapterhouse Theatre Company was founded 22 years ago and is well-known for its touring open-air theatre shows. The company will be touring these shows in summer 2022: Cinderella, Sherlock Holmes and the Hounds of the Baskervilles, Romeo & Juliet and Pride and Prejudice.
