Chesterfield Studios will stage Fame The Musical at the town’s Pomegranate Theatre next week.

The students will take on the mammoth task of portraying a myriad of emotions through song, dance and drama under the watchful eyes of their Fame School teachers played by real life tutors Phil Simcox, Julie Metcalfe, Georgina Bailey and Sam Rowlands.

Director Susan Earnshaw said: “I am proud to be working with such a talented group of young people. It’s going to be a great show!”

Fame began life as the well-known film, developed into a television series and later the musical. Now Chesterfield Studios is showing what hard work and dedication can produce in this roller-coaster ride of a show.

Performances are on July 12, and 13 at 7.3opm. Tickets £16.50 and £12.50 (child). Call 01246 345222 or www.chesterfieldtheatres.co.uk
